In the story, we encounter Mithos in two different forms first in his adult form, who's wings are a dark pink colour, almost magenta, and then later on in his true form, which is a child of about fourteen. Mithos' wings are interesting, mostly because they are the only ones that change colours through the game. The main antagonist, he is revealed to have once had good intentions, and even at the very end of the game, no one in the party wishes to kill him. He is not only the head angel of Cruxis, and leader of the Four Seraphim, but is the entire reason for the game's story. "You only cry out because you cannot withstand your own pain."įourthly, and lastly, is Mithos Yggdrasill. To close this section, here is one of Kratos' quotes. However, Kratos isn't just empty knowledge, but has, as said before, much wisdom in even his words which may not sound all that wise. It also says that " Blue's wisdom comes from its higher level of intelligence, a spiritual perspective." Kratos is over four-thousand years old, and of course, with that amount of years, one is bound to become knowledgeable on all sorts of things. He is extremely wise and offers advice at crucial points for Lloyd, who often remembers the words throughout the game. " In the meaning of colors, blue relates to one-to-one communication, especia lly communication using the voice - speaking the truth through verbal self-expression - it is the teacher, the public speaker." He not only serves as a sort of safeguard for the others (Lloyd especially), but blue is also described as this: These qualities all fit Kratos, who is introduced first as a mysterious mercenary before being revealed to be an Angel and then later on to be Lloyd's father. It is described as sincere, reserved, and quiet. His wing colour is a rather deep blue, and blue is said to be the colour of trust, loyalty, and responsibility. Though he is an antagonist for most of the game, he can be argued to be a neutral party due to his helping both Lloyd and the leader of Cruxis. Our third angel is Kratos Aurion the father of Lloyd, and one of the Four Seraphim of Cruxis. Gold is also called generous and giving, and Zelos is most definitely this as well as self-sacrificing as Colette by the end of the game, he was always more caring than he gave off anyways. In the end of the game, it can be said that Zelos has both of these things not only has he helped Lloyd save the world, but he has found acceptance and love in others for who he is, not because of his status or his outward personality. Gold is not only the colour of luxury, (which would signify his status as a noble in Tethe'alla) but is also the colour of achievement and success. Zelos' wings are a golden colour, with tips that seem to be almost orangish-red, creating a flame sort of effect. Zelos, in short, is mainly an outgoing man who trusts deeply and cares for his friends, but outwardly appears to be a lazy, carefree fool, only because he is afraid of letting anyone see past his guise for fear of what they'll think of the real him when they find out his masks aren't entirely true. However, he oftentimes blames himself for the misfortunes of others and looks down upon both his status as the Chosen and regards even his mother's death as his fault for being the Chosen. More insecure than he first comes off, his confidence isn't a complete mask, as he does indeed have it. Full of himself and over-confident, along with a penchant for chasing after women, he seems to only care for himself however, he is more than that. On the surface, he seems to be the exact opposite of Colette, despite having the same role in his respective world as she. Secondly is the Chosen of Tethe'alla, Zelos Wilder. Pink is also said to represent girlishness and innocence, which, even towards the end of the game, Colette still has she doesn't become jaded by the events, but stays as hopeful she can, and faithful in the world and the Goddess.
